CYD Scholarship Program
CYD Emergency Planning Services is committed to investing in the next generation of community responders, crisis professionals, and support specialists. Our scholarship program supports single parents pursuing full-time degrees in fields related to emergency response, mental health, cybersecurity, and public safety.

Program Highlights
- Covers full tuition and provides a monthly stipend for selected students
- Supports up to three full-time students per year
- Focuses on degrees in emergency response, crisis management, mental health, or cybersecurity
- Recipients must maintain academic performance and remain in good standing
- Includes a one-year work commitment within the CYD mission upon graduation
Eligibility Requirements
- Must be a single parent enrolled (or accepted) in a full-time college program
- Must declare a major relevant to emergency response or community resilience
- Must maintain a minimum GPA (typically 2.5 or higher) during the academic year
- Must participate in CYD mentorship and check-in sessions throughout the year
